1 Man 1 Van, a relocation firm rooted in Orlando and covering Central Florida, owns and runs 1man1van.org. Spending time across these pages, or sending an estimate through, marks your acceptance of all that is set down here.
Whom you sign with
No fog about it: the hauling firm is us. Our own vans handle the work, payroll crews ride along, and every shred of operating credential bears our company name:
- Florida credentialFDACS Mover Registration
- Cross-state credentialUSDOT and MC authority
- The dealStruck face-to-face with 1 Man 1 Van
- FounderDanny Cruz, at it locally since 2013
Never does your relocation get passed along some broker pipeline. The flow is plain: you file a request, Brittany builds a flat written figure then mails it your way, and once you give the nod, the moving deal sits squarely amid you and 1 Man 1 Van, with no extra body slotted between.
A price quote rides for free
Learning what your move runs costs zero, and the job itself collects no hidden tack-ons:
- Not a dollar charged to seal the booking
- Not a dollar charged over paperwork
- No percentage shaved off any sum
- The lone sum due is that fixed flat figure spelled out across your binding quote, paid once the last carton clears the van
The named figure stays put
Whatever your binding quote states holds steady, measured by the item list plus the entry conditions jotted right onto it.
- If the real job swings substantially, an entire room tacked on or taken away, or building entry differing from our understanding, a redone quote arrives before the scheduled day rolls around.
- No fresh invoice follows an emptied van unless your signature went down beforehand.
Reserving a slot, plus cancelling
A refundable deposit, generally landing between $100 and $200, books your spot on the calendar.
| Your move | Result |
|---|---|
| Roughly a three-day heads-up ahead of your slot | The full deposit returns to you |
| Pulling out come the very morning | A portion may stay back, covering crew hours already penciled in |
Your printed quote holds the deciding terms
Exact cancellation language appears on the quote you are handed. Figures here merely mirror the usual run of things; that document is what truly rules.
Protection riding with your belongings
Every job sits atop the federal minimum, $1M of cargo coverage on the load.
| Option | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Baseline interstate released value | $0.60 per pound, that federal default holding until you upgrade |
| Paid full value protection (1–3%) | Declared-worth coverage reaching over the entire load, wise for breakable or pricey items |
File one, and the claim travels right through our Orlando office, inside a 9-month claim window, no outside body lodged anywhere down the line.
Square dealing on the form
Filling the pricing request out, you take on a short set of expectations:
- Supply honest particulars, both ZIP codes, the day you aim for, and an inventory true to reality.
- Leave aside any phony or machine-driven repeat entries; bot-made submissions stay barred.
We hold onto the option of turning down any work on any basis lining up with Florida statutes and federal regulation.
Consent around calls and texts
Putting the form through lets 1 Man 1 Van loop back via the line or email you entered, automated SMS tucked in where it suits. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Switching the outreach off
- Fire STOP back at any text

Every other detail of data handling appears in the Privacy Policy we publish.
Not meant as advice
Anything met around here, the answers in our FAQ, the lane descriptions, the area guides, ranks as broad moving know-how and nothing further, never tax, legal, or money guidance. Where your relocation gets snarled in probate, in a marital split, or in company holdings, run it past a licensed advisor ahead of time.
How far our liability reaches
The extent of 1 Man 1 Van’s responsibility for work done under a binding quote gets pinned by three sources:
- The precise terms set down on that document
- The federal household-moving code at 49 CFR § 375 et seq. wherever the work runs across state lines
- The matching Florida moving rule wherever the work keeps inside the state
To whatever degree law permits, our aggregate exposure will never overrun whatever cargo-coverage amount your quote names.
Later revisions
Now and then this wording gets reworked, the date near the top moving in step. Carrying on browsing here, or lodging another request later, registers as your consent.
